Disaster Legal Services

Flood survivors facing denied FEMA claims, landlord-tenant disputes, lost documents, contractor scams, or other disaster-related legal issues can call AppalReD’s Disaster Legal Services Intake Hotline at 1-844-478-0099 for free legal assistance. Survivors can also visit an AppalReD office, connect with staff at Disaster Resource Centers, or leave a message for a Disaster Team member to return their call.

Pro Bono Volunteers Needed to Help Disaster Survivors

Pro bono attorneys play a critical role in helping disaster survivors rebuild their lives. Your skills can make a life-changing difference. To meet the overwhelming legal needs in the wake of this disaster, AppalReD is actively recruiting and training volunteer attorneys. Whether you have two hours, twenty, or two hundred to give, we have a volunteer opportunity for you. Pro Bono volunteers can assist for a shift in person providing vital information, remotely through online clinics, or take case referrals.
